Coming October 14, 2025!

An arranged marriage. A deadly secret.

A love that could ruin everything.

As the fractured kingdom of Serendith teeters on the edge of ruin, Elara—a sheltered, powerless princess—is forced into a perilous bargain: marry her enemy or condemn her family to death.

Trapped in a royal engagement neither of them wants, Elara becomes a prisoner in her own palace, navigating a court of secrets and faking a love she never meant to feel. But the deeper she falls for Caelan—a powerful, infuriatingly charming watermage—the harder it becomes to tell ally from enemy.

Beneath the silvery glow of the Cygnet Moon, ancient magics and deadly prophecies stir. Secrets unravel and the line between duty and desire blurs. Now, Elara must decide who to trust—and how much she’s willing to sacrifice—for her family, for her kingdom…and for a love that could destroy them all.

Under the Cygnet Moon is the start of a spellbinding new fantasy series perfect for fans of Throne of Glass and From Blood and Ash!

About the Author

Jennifer L Adams writes emotionally rich fantasy filled with flawed heroines, powerful magic, and themes of love, loss, and reclaiming personal power. Her debut novel, Under the Cygnet Moon, releases in Fall 2025.

Jennifer’s love for storytelling began early—crafting tales on her grandmother’s old computer during summer vacations. Though she set aside that dream to pursue academics and a successful corporate career, earning her MBA and excelling in leadership, the pull to write never fully faded. It wasn’t until becoming a mother that she returned to the page, finding both respite and healing in fiction. Writing became a way to reconnect with her identity—and to fulfill a promise she made to herself as a little girl: to write a book one day.

Now, as a mom to a young daughter, Jennifer hopes to pass on that spirit of dreaming big. She draws inspiration from authors like Kristen Cashore and Sarah J. Maas, whose stories helped reignite her love of reading and writing.

When she’s not writing or spending time with family, Jennifer is likely watching Survivor, snuggling with her dogs, or hosting game night with friends in Phoenix, Arizona. A lifelong lover of puzzles, strategy games, and meaningful stories, she believes that the most powerful journeys often begin with one small spark of belief.
